I m a pc..

Microsoft launches second phase of the campaign to mark the Windows … fully integrated into Apple’s “I’m a PC” label.

After providing a pair of advertisements for Bill Gates and star Jerry Seinfeld in a little and moved a bit poorly-received sketches, Microsoft launches the second phase of its $ 300 million attempt to talk about Windows brand. Ads and kissing by the “I’m a PC” label created by Apple in the long-running Mac vs. PC advertising campaign, which in the PC have been (good), portrayed by actor John Hodgman.

Starting from a Microsoft engineer “Sean” Houseman dressed like to say, “Hi, I’m a PC, and I was in a stereotype,” Microsoft hopes topple Apple’s success of the campaign promoting the virtues of Macintosh facility employment, which shows Windows users who are proud of the Windows-based PC and Windows Mobile released and Internet services. Bill Gates makes an appearance in miniature of the campaign, but Jerry Seinfeld is not available. Instead, the stars Eva Longoria, Pharrell Williams, and Deepak Chopra to do cameo appearances. More than 60 employees of Microsoft will also, along with e-mail addresses. (If you are curious, Gates is considered bill@windows.com. Of course, try it.)

To build the theme “Windows of life without walls”, the campaign hopes the consumer to prove that the Windows ecosystem of software and services for desktop computers from mobile devices for the Internet allows users to communicate, work, play and together with friends, family and colleagues. Windows can enhance productivity, collaboration and communication, as the barriers.

“On our way to ensure that Windows provides a life without walls, we have taken a step back and listening to new and changed our approach,” the law Veghte, Senior Vice President, Online Services and Windows Business Group, in a statement. “Then you see that in advertising, products, in the experience in retailing and Windows.com.”

The idea to kiss, and the subversion, a competitor for the success of the campaign is not new. However, the strategy will not run some risks, especially if competitors are not just back, the tables back. And with a get-advertising as a competitor to Apple, you know some people in Redmond, and the agency Crispin Porter &amp Bogusky, the ADS much time to ask how, and if Apple could respond.
