The Grand Finale of season 4 is set to take place on or about February 2009 where the fourth Indian Idol will be selected by public vote and presented via a “Live” recorded performance.[1] Promos for the fourth season appeared on Sony Entertainment Television mid summer of 2008 and featured past contestants of the series as well as recurring judges Annu Malik and Javed Akhtar. Indian Idol 4 will again be telecasted on Sony Entertainment Television. Promos appeared on Sony TV saying Indian Idol 4 is premiering once again for another season on September 19, 2008.(source)
